The Association organises and oversees the running of chess in the county of Northamptonshire.

Competitions include the County Championship, Silver King League, Knockout and games against other counties.

There are clubs in Burton Latimer, Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Northampton, Oundle, Peterborough and Rushden.

Clubs are happy to accept members who wish to play for fun or those wishing to be involved in competitive chess.
