Cole Trophy 2007

Red Dragons Chess Club players make most of the right
moves in the Cole Trophy 2007

The County Championship for the Cole Trophy took place at Toller Church Rooms, Kettering on 11/12 March 2006

Unfortunately numbers were down on previous years but the a good weekend was had by those taking part

The championship was shared by three players, two from Red Dragons and an ex Red Dragon now playing for Chess Mates

The emergence of 16 years old James Jackson shows his continuing improvement and puts him among the leading players in the county. During the course of the championship he played both of the other winners and other leading contenders.
